ORAL HEALTH CARE
Our dental hygienists are committed to providing preventative care such as exams, cleanings and oral health education, in a secure, welcoming setting where your child’s comfort and joy are our utmost priorities. We believe in a child-centered approach; if your child is pre-cooperative, we will find a method to accomplish the
appointment in a manner acceptable for your child. If it takes one or more appointments for your little one to become acquainted with our office and team, we consider that time well spent.
FLUORIDE TREATMENTS
Fluoride treatments play a vital role in pediatric dentistry as they help strengthen your child’s teeth and prevent tooth decay. These treatments involve the application of a concentrated fluoride directly onto the teeth. This fluoride is absorbed into the enamel, making the teeth more resistant to decay caused by plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth.
DENTAL SEALANTS
A sealant is a clear or tooth-colored material that is applied to the chewing surfaces of molars (back teeth). Because back teeth have many depressions and grooves, they are difficult to clean, which makes them prone to cavities, especially for children. A coating of sealant protects the chewing surfaces and can dramatically reduce the risk of decay.
DENTAL X-RAYS
